Itinerary of the excursion to Enriquillo Lake

The itinerary of the Enriquillo Lake Tour is as follows:

08:00 a.m. - Pick up at your hotel in Barahona. The tour begins with the pick up by bus, where our driver and a guide will meet and greet us.
09:00 a.m. - After a trip of about two hours to the lake, we will stop at a viewpoint, from where you can take pictures of the scenery. From this place you will be able to observe a spectacular view of Enriquillo Lake, surrounded by nature and mountains.
10:00 a.m. - Observation of crocodiles and birds. Next, we will board a boat for a ride on the lake. During the trip we will be able to see up close the American crocodiles that live in the lake, as well as a large number of birds. You will also be able to discover the sensational scenery offered by the place, which stands out for being the lowest area of the entire Caribbean with respect to sea level.
12:30 p.m. - Neyba town and surroundings. After the spectacular encounter with the fauna of Enriquillo Lake, we will continue to the town of Neyba and its famous grapes. There we will learn a little more about the culture of the place, visit some handicraft stores and taste the delicious grapes grown in the region.
01:30 p.m. - Las Marías. In this place, the inhabitants of the surrounding area spend their free time, and it is the last stop of the tour.
