The itinerary we will follow in this excursion is as follows:

  • 09:00 a.m. - Pick up at the hotel by the driver and the English or Spanish speaking guide. Then we start our way along the coast, enjoying the views that this area has to offer.
  • 10:15 a.m. - Arrival in Oviedo and visit to the lagoon. This saltwater nature reserve is home to 24 islets. We will board a boat and observe native birds such as herons and ducks. We will also visit an islet where iguanas live. In addition, we will approach Flamingo Island, home to the largest colony of flamingos in the Dominican Republic. Before leaving the lagoon, we will go to a point where the mud baths are located, where we can dive and splash around for a while.
  • 12:30 p.m. - After having enjoyed the visit to Oviedo Lagoon and Flamingo Island, the excursion continues to Los Patos, a typical place to relax and enjoy a swim in one of the rivers or beaches that make up the site.
